abuse and physical assault on stewards

Hope you're well.

The club today report that a number of verbal abuses, and one physical assault, were experienced by North Stand stewards at the Bristol City game.

Were these cases, esp. the assault, reported to the police ?

Yes they were. The issue of persistent standing is one for the club to manage, however where reports of verbal abuse and physical assaults occur, we are duty bound to investigate should the aggrieved wish police action.
