Both use solely Airbus A320 family for this size/class of aircraft.
Tui and Norwegian are the only European airlines with them. It is only the 4th generation which is affected by this, the 3rd generation used by Ryanair, KLM, SAS and others (including most of Norwegian and Tuis fleets...
I don't know the exact UK royalties setup but I believe ours is basically copied from it - and there's no discounts. We pay a fixed % of turnover to the rights agencies and they divvy up from logs we give them.
That would suggest bad feeding of the scheduler with a fairly small database each...
Oh and - the majority of 'request' shows are fake. They're also scheduled. Someone who calls in is told what song to ask for if they want their shout out on air; or they call back the texter that happens to have asked for something already coming up. Sometimes old pre-recorded requests are...
They were my example of no input at all basically. The ridiculously tight rotations are "proven" to work for a certain definition of proven - I think its bollox personally. Basically the claim is the average listener, of which there are clearly lots, want to hear those songs and don't listen for...
I work in the non-on-air side of radio, slightly different market than the UK but we used to own a bunch of UK stations which ran identically.
For normal radio stations, with "formats" - pop, classic rock, easy listening, love songs etc - the DJ usually has zero input whatsoever. Schedule made...
I've mates with a vegan food company - think Tesco UK are going to list their stuff soon. They do 'bacon', mince, 'chicken' and burgers.
Their 'bacon', Real Lancashire Black Pudding vPud and McCartney sausages is honestly barely distinguishable from a meat fryup - add whatever other non-animal...
Unless its a direct-drive capstan (which a higher end old model probably is tbh) there's still belts that can go wonky; and gummy pinch rollers are the usual cause of eaten tapes not the tape
Tape definitely does degrade but rubber belts and rollers go faster! The degredation used there is...
You probably need to do some work on the player. Make sure the pinch roller isn't gummy and replace if it is is, check the belts are still tensioned and non sticky etc. This is what usually degrades badly and quicker, not the tape.
New tape players are shit, particularly if you want to play...
Buy the odd album, only stuff I'd listen to end to end (albeit with one or three trips up to change sides/records) still and have a decent amount of 12" singles from when I used to DJ - until about 2006 some stuff I'd want was only released on 12" with possibly a CD of the radio edit. I still...
I work in the docklands - plenty of those around but they're different pubs!
The 'spoons is opening a short wobble from a smaller brewery owned pub that does a large guest selection, cask, etc; and an independent that's primarily craft a bit further up the road. Both are phenomenally expensive.
They've 5 (and 3 under construction) in Ireland, which I'm assuming will sell no food and about 10% of their current tap lineup (Jaipur and Punk) imminently!
The drop in the value of Sterling put an end to their expansion in Ireland and put the three currently being built on hold for prolonged...
I'd just change to the question to just "What's this railcard business?".
There's a baffling variety of railcard options available, all to confuse people and limit the number who take them up, and with their purpose just to make rail fares slightly affordable. Would it not make a lot more...
Definitely on the schedule.
I'm an Eir customer so I'm meant to get it for free on phones/tablets but its never worked when I've tried. Wedding tomorrow and hangover Saturday morning which might make trying to fix my account a bit problematic!
Get a slightly off pint of Coors Light somewhere (that clearly has NOTHING else available) and compare to a particularly poor cider (older sweet cider types, not the nuclear sugar ones like Orchard Thieves now) and you may have trouble identifying which is which. This must be the same!
