Went to Nadine Shah last night at Brighton Electric, 100 people and 8 people in her band. It was quality, she did a 90 minute set with tracks off all 4 albums. The support was also very good a local musician called Johny J Presley, he was very good, White stripes, Royal Blood sound with also Jim...

I saw Superorgansim at resident last night, they were excellent, some great new songs, done in that quirky deadpan way. Going to try and get to DAMEFRISOR on Wednesday at the Hope and Ruin on the back of 2-HEH-V being a great track. Although will probably be touch and go time wise.

But I agree that the club should be all out trying to play at outfield grounds - it may be financially prudent but it's not a good look

[Cricket] Sussex CCC- 2022 Season Edition

No Sussex have appealed for sponsors to fund Horsham in the past for example and none came forward. The club have listed all the costs involved before and they say it is not just possible to move to an outground without serious costs. I am only repeating what they are saying, as I said I think...

[Cricket] Sussex CCC- 2022 Season Edition

Sussex have always been quite open that is about sponsorship, as the costs of playing on outfields runs into the thousands of pounds. I am always amazed companies in these areas do not fund week's sports festivals. I am upset by it but never blame Sussex, I always think the multi million pound...

I always think gigs at the Brixton Academy are far more intense than those in Brighton, you tend to get an Uber group of Ultra fans. One of my biggest examples of this is The Specials, who I have seen a lot. In Brixton everyone is dressed so sharp in all the gear, they placed A Town Called...

Yes after 4 tremendous albums over 10 years Sons of Kemet are sadly disbanding, although they all do amazing stuff elsewhere, Shabba was with Nightmares On Wax at Glastonbury and Skinner is part of the Radiohead fused band The Smile. My friend said that the Kemet and Garcia set was amazing I...
