Palace rivalry piece in today's Times

The Palace fan's blog is better than the article in The Times.

Legal expert is now saying the conditions are at odds with stop and search powers AND data protection anyway... Done a bit on her comments HERE

    Palace home tickets remaining

So how many are left then?

    "We love being the underdogs"

I know I would feel a lot less nervous if we were underdogs.

[Albion] Attendance for the Palace away and home legs

Perhaps. But to suggest Spurs and Chelsea et al do not have an equally strong history of violence is naive. When Spurs play West Ham or Chelsea, or when Chelsea play West Ham, there is never more than a few seats and a line of stewards.

Has ANYONE heard back from the MET yet? Anyone bored, I did a couple of pieces on the ticket debate HERE and HERE.

Songs to get you ready for the match

Wouldn't mind a quick chorus of: "Losing in front of your home crowd..." tonight.

[Albion] Attendance for the Palace away and home legs

I never understand how the MET and stewards can cope with about ONE seat buffer zone when Spurs play at Chelsea etc but need two blocks or so when Brighton play at Palace.

    Good / Bad Omens

A gull walked across the pavement and nodded at me while I was walking my dog this morning. We are DEFO going up.

    Agreed. Sadly, equally unlikely.

Songs to get you ready for the match

Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want. The Smiths. "Good times for a change See, the luck I've had Can make a good man Turn bad So please please please Let me, let me, let me Let me get what I want This time Haven't had a dream in a long time See, the life I've had Can...

    Mile Jedinak

Good player. To dismiss him on the basis of a couple of less than commanding performances against us would be naive. Imagine what Palace fans thought of our team after they owned us 3v0 at Selhurst. Cannot see it happening though unless he is out of contract.

NOW is the time for marching...

Shame we never reach the third verse... "Sometimes your feet are weary, Sometimes the way is long, Sometimes the day is dreary, Sometimes the world goes wrong; But if you let your voices ring, Your care will fly away, So we'll sing a song as we march along, Of Sussex by the Sea."

Met Police wanted to ban Albion fans?

Not an accurate comparison. Nobody is potentially stopping you in the middle of the road to check your ID on your way to or from the shop / pub.

Met Police wanted to ban Albion fans?

Indeed. At The Amex the five arrests - two of which were made on public transport - represented a MASSIVE 0.017% of the 28,499 crowd.

Met Police wanted to ban Albion fans?

You see, while I agree in general, I take issue with a group of around 2,000 people being treated as one body and judged by the actions of a minority. I will got to Selhurst, behave and act responsibly. I will also be held back, treated like shit and asked to carry ID to be produced at any...

Play-off away game ticket info - includes VERY strict Palace rules

Might the MET's alleged suggestion of an away fan ban explain the over the top conditions? Still a joke mind.
