To be honest, it may not comfort many but we were still the better side, they just had a clinical striker where's our shots were all within their keeper's reach. We were still miles off it though compared to our best performances and agree with the comments about tiredness, I think RDZ is...
Agree completely, Spurs have an embarrassment of riches on their subs bench let alone the starting line up. We weren't at our best particularly in the first half last night, but we could have easily nicked a point - if one of our few shots on the edge of the box had crept in I think the mood...
Probably already been posted, but for those who haven't seen it Knutsen really pissed off Mourinho when Bodo Glimt met Roma in Europe last season, despite Jose's team being far, far more expensively assembled. Knutsen even got into a scrap with the Roma goalie coach and they beat Roma twice in...
IF the game tomorrow is called off as predicted, it's not all doom and gloom as we'll have a good amount of time to survey our options without a fixture in the interim. Furthermore, with where the club sits at the moment, there can't have been a much better time in our history to look for a...

Could be interesting viewing over the course of the next 24 hours.
Maybe. I think the balance of the team in midfield is pretty decent as it is though overall, although I think Gilmour is a good, potentially excellent, signing. We're just light in striking options which is where I'd expect the majority of our goals to come from.
Every season the same cycle of struggling to sign a striker, but this time we sold one of our most prolific goal scorers and haven't replaced him. Bizarre.
Without meaning to be a downer after yesterday's great result, United were a complete shambles particularly in the first half yesterday, despite us capatalising brilliantly. Think the game vs the Geordies will be a much tougher assingment particularly given, based on recent seasons, we're better...
Enciso looks raw but he's direct, pacy and tricky and we're not exactly overloaded with wide players so he could well make our squad and dodge a loan imo.
The only thing I wonder is whether he'll currently have the tenacity and workmanlike qualities that Potter demands of all of the players...
Not the OP's point, first time round they were giving it large and practically at fever pitch at the prospect of getting into the Europa League, second rendition was licking their wounds after passing up a golden oppotunity!
Have some of the doom merchants on this thread seen Everton's fixtures? If they don't beat Leicester at home in 2 weeks time I can't see where their next 3 points are coming from until Watford in May, which would be too late. We'll pick up a few draws at least between now and the end of the season
We're really in a pickle here, Sanchez has pretty much been making at least an error a game for several matches running now, but Potter clearly doesn't rate Steele enough to play him and make a statement.
We've surely regressed significantly in terms of squad depth in this area, given we had...
