NYC get my vote every time,... London bars are in a lot of cases more expensive than some Manhatten places, service is 100 times better, places stay open longer, clothing is on the whole cheaper, electronic goods are on the whole cheaper,.... its bigger, brasher and totally geared up to the visitor.

I am going to suggest that a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge in Oct/Nov is going to be a bit of an experience weather wise,.... its not breeze free in the middle of summer, I got part way across in April once, and turned back.

If you get to the airport early enough to have a meal, there is a fantastic steak restaurant in Newark Airport....top top quality at good prices considering it is in the airport. Just get cab or subway to Penn station, the overland train goes straight to Newark airport from there, easy 30 min journey, we did it several times when they were doing flights out of Bristol to Newark.... $15 each, much cheaper than cab.

    Running around in the 70's

I was there, there was no real fisticuffs in the ground some pushing and shoving, a small 'handbags' behind the Williams stand before..... It was nothing to excite the old school.....98% of those on the pitch in front of the Rovers fans were about 15 years old.

    Homophobic Derby Fans banned

Nothing really difficult here,... if it is racist or openly obcene and completely inappropriate given the audience that may have to listen to it, then stamp it out,... anything that falls outside that can be fallen back on as 'banter' in the way it always has been.

Deadline day bids for Ulloa, Bridcutt, Barnes and KLL from Palace

I don't think it would have mattered if the bid(s) were low, the club was not in a position to sell anyone, so they didn't.

    Homophobic Derby Fans banned

It was particularly two references that tipped the scales of justice against them,..... chanting at the south east section of home fans such notable dittys that included "take it up the ****" and another referring to HIV and AIDS, alerted the stewards and police, 3 years is reasonable for such...

    Dreadful News !!!

We had a villa in Guia in Portugal some years back, a place where Cliff has his mansion in the sun, surrounded by his vineyards. In the local 'off licence' they had a big promotion on one summer, whereby if you bought two bottles of his wine you got a free Cliff CD,..... needless to say we drank...
