What a signing and what a player he has been for the Albion. And he still has something to contribute as part of a squad.
But we were quicker in transition yesterday without him starting and I've felt he is less central to our plans this season.
Might we be seeing the end of his time at the...
He practices that flat-trajectory pass before the game. It's clearly one of our out balls now and has been all season. There was an article referring to this in The Athletic in Feb 21.
You can be an aggressive **** sometimes, can't you.
I said "most grounds had a very reduced attendance" and you confirmed that they were perhaps 50-60% attendance. My point exactly. Our game was at 8pm, finishing at around 10pm with real public transport issues. I think that's far from...
Watching MotD it is clear that most grounds had a very reduced attendance, even those that were during the day and/or with easy public transport. Huge numbers of empty seats, so nothing exceptional about the Amex.
Interesting that as a newbie you start so many threads (some of them pretty random). Not normal behavior for someone starting out on their NSC journey.
What's your story SW gull? Are you a new account from a previous flouncer?
A thread proving that the great and the good of NSC can and will squabble about anything. Literally anything.
And even managed to get a side squabble about zoos into it as well.
May it never change.
I'm no expert, but cryptic clues always work the same way: they tell you what the answer is, and they give you some way of working it out. The skill (practice) is in unlocking the answer from the hints. And then knowing how the hints typically work (anagram, hidden answer, pun, double meaning...

A company cryptic quiz has been circulated and I can't answer a couple of the clues. I'll bet NSC can help. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious.
These are the two I am stuck on:

You haven't read all the replies to this thread. The money is an issue, more so because many feel they've already paid for their ticket, but the degree of friction involved is huge compared to handing someone your season ticket.
I can't speak on behalf of everyone else, but I can tell you that the new scheme has made it very much harder for me to share my ticket (which I know was theoretically not allowed).
My great friend and I bought tickets next to each other from Day One with the express purpose that we could lend...
Not sure it's second season syndrome. Not even sure that exists statistically.
But second season for yorkshire clubs syndrome? Now that exists!
Huddersfield (didn;t they think they were special that first season up)
Sheffield United (Europe 'ere we coom)
Leeds Disunited
Love to see it.
Harveys Old won the top awards and sold out. Their reverse osmosis machine (that removes the alcohol) is broken, so no more until the new year.
Low alcohol Best is OK but not world beating.

Really enjoyed his cameo yesterday. He got us on the front foot. He worried them when he had the ball and harried them when we didn't. He was the reason we got a point out of the game. Massive credit to Solly, Solly March.
