I would guide you to "The Price of Inequality" by Stiglitz, but it's economics and politics, so, if someone doesn't agree with the message, there'll be a way to argue against it, although the stats are not in question. Interesting though.
One point I would make on this though: in 2010 (I don't have the data after this point, but I would hazard a guess that it hasn't changed much), 93% of increases in GNP in the US went to the top 1%. Therefore, growth can be seen to be increasing the inequality in society - there is perhaps...
A fine choice Staly - fairly insubstantial on a first listen, but there's a subtle momentum to this song. Always liked the photo on the cover too - little bit more exotic than usual? I always imagined it was South America, but, knowing Hood, is it actually the Pennines?
Sorry - I'm being slow with my review: intended to do it on the train, but my portable CD player insists that the disc is unreadable, which I don't think is really the case, so I need to transfer the music to some other device instead. Bear with me, but busy at work at the moment, so not much...
Maybe this is all to do with the speed of sound: if you're in the East Stand, the sound of the West Stand clapping will reach your ears with a small time lag. That will make you think that either you are out of time, in which case you'll modify your clapping, or that other people are out of...
Knotty, I'm just round the corner from you - we share the same parish magazine. Next time I'm walking past The Mermaid, I'll ask after you. Have they got the moles out of Neame's Meadow yet?
Effectively funded straight out of Tony's pocket (increase in Director's Loan Account, note 16). We are not breaking even on our cash flow if we exclude capital expenditure and also TB's funding of it - not particularly surprising if you make operating losses of £10m, but, given also the revenue...
....and only 4 for Bottle Rocket?? That's at least a 9!! A certain member of NSC surely won't be overly thrilled with a middling score of 6 for track 7 either - stay away from the Family Stand on Saturday, Somerset, or you may find someone throwing his drumsticks at you. Clearly Flex is the...
You can get from East to North if you go down the stairs at the north end of row I in the Family Stand - a route I employ to my advantage to make a swift exit after the final whistle. Very handy.
Staly, please be assured that I was about to post "Yep - that's Staly" before Flex got in there first. I've neither received or been reviewed yet

A fine band, probably technically a Sussex band, I would say. I have loads of silly 7" singles by Bearsuit, packed full of pamphlets, badges, etc. One even wrapped in bandages. There would be a fantastic "best of" compilation.
