my experience is that the first appeal to the employer who sacked you originally is very rarely won(none in my working life) but are very often settled just prior to court, I suggest this will be how this one will go
His first appeal will be to other directors of the club based on facts seen and anything new gus can add, so unlikely to win you would think but you never know. From there through the courts, which will ultimately be about money if he wins
I been following the club since the goldstone days when my dad took me along. Together we have driven to Gillingham and sat in the pouring rain at withdean. My old man is getting on now and thanks to the great facilities the amex provides I still am lucky enough to get to go to games with him...
Doom and gloom one day replaced by excitment the next. The life of a football fan. Very happy with the appointment and we can now forget the last 6 weeks and look forward to next season.
Never quite understood the head coach role. I guess oscar will say for example I need a forward thinking lb and burke will scout and recruit, deal with contracts etc. Or does burke scout and present list of possibilites to oscar and they agree on target and burke deals?
The only thing that concerns me about the interim manager is just that, ie appointed for cicra 3 weeks to oversee training. No issue as regards current players, its about fitness etc. But do we then have to wait that 3 weeks before adding to the squad since what the interim would suggest and the...
If they can get a decent interim in place this week who may become permanent and start moving on signings as suggested by bloom the no I think we will be okay.
Realistically if the timescale is 3 weeks for appeal the logical route would be to make tanno who is reported as back at work to cover. To going down an interim route suggests to me that either tanno did not return which I have no knowledge of or more likely the interim will become permanent at...
Bloom seem to hint that it will be interim moving to permanent. Just a feeling when he was talking transfers. I thought experienced manager rather than experienced interim, rules out sherwood as does the fact he is employed. Think it could be hoddle, just a guess.
blooms interview was a bit clearer as regards timings saying gus was aware of his impending dismissal prior to going on air. different meaning totally from pending used in that club statement.
bloom was very clear however about gus being aware of his impending dismissal before going on air. totally different meaning to the club statement. also liked the top 6 bit, feel better now
