From the late 60's onward Tom Jones sang with just about the most impressive list of Rock/Soul/Blues/Country stars you could mention, and he more than holds his own with them as well.

Overlord by Max Hastings is a must read book for anybody interested in the real story of what went on on D-Day and the months following. I thought I had a reasonable knowledge of it but had no idea just how much a close run thing it actually was, quite scary when you read what actually happened...
There with my Father in Law, we'd bought terrace season tickets and stood at the front of the South Stand for the game. I remember 'Bang Bang' by B.A. Robertson playing over the tannoy before the game (it must have been an omen), then Albion being all over Arsenal for the first ten mins...
So sad, a really funny guy, I loved his unique style and delivery. Whenever Lidl's name comes up it always reminds me of Sean's hilarious monologue about them.
RIP Sean.
The three surviving members of Bad Company in 2011, Paul Rodgers was 61 and still sounds as good as he did back in the 70's, one of the all time great rock voices.
