Big Bobby Sanchez. I reckon if he put his foot through the ball he'd put the net, goal and if he got anywhere near it the keeper into the stand.
Otherwise Ally Mac, Gross, Maupay.
Cd's through a stack stereo.:(
I don't think I'm an audiophile. For a start I've been bewildered by all the named equipment and specifications in this thread. I think it's my preference because:
1)It's what I grew up with
2) I'm shit with technology/computers.
3) I realy like having a...
Liverpool.
I'm all for a cup run but the pool of teams left in the league cup is really strong so I don't see us winning it. I'd rather beat Liverpool and maintain the excellent start to the season. Keep the points coming in so that by January and the start of the F.A cup we can go all out for...
The current bottom three are the obvious choices, nine games in and not a win between them.
Of the three though the only one I'd say with any confidence is Norwich. They look doomed. Burnley don't look great but they always seem to find a way so it's too early to call them. Newcastle look...
Regarding Bissouma at least his absence shows how important he and his role is to the team so if we weren't before we really need to make sure that we have it covered next year whether he is still with us or not.
While knowing that this is a free hit and we're almost definitely going to lose is anyone else feeling that if only we could maybe, some how, sneak a win then the top four charge is still on?
I know I know. We'll probably lose and we're not going to end up in the top four but I can't help it...
I'd like to recommend it but I'm not sure I will. It's a wonderful film but if it's one of your favourite books I'm not sure it'll ever match those expectations.
It is a great film though.
On a similar theme(author) I'm going to tentatively suggest Stand By Me. Tentatively because I've not actually read it but it'll have to be an incredible book to be better than the film.
Yeah, red. It's not a tackle and while he's clearly going for a shot it's obvious quite early Saka is going to get there but he doesn't do anything to pull out just swings full power.
However, it does make me chuckle the Arsenal fan in the tweet in the first post claiming that if that had been...
I'm a big fan of his box dominating. It's a hugely important part of goalkeeping. It does mean that he'll make the odd mistake and occasional howler but he'll more than make up for it even if we don't notice as he's cut out the danger.
I think a lot of born and bred English would struggle with that. I find it fascinating that it's part of an English language course. I guess it's a more interesting way of testing language skills than a standard grammar test.
What with us being firmly and entirely seriously ensconced in the battle for the title I suppose that we can't call games against City and Liverpool 'free hits' anymore?
At the risk of knocking this thread out of its stride...
What came up in that English history exam you took a while back? I've been fascinated by that for weeks!
I like this comparison.
He is better than some give him credit for. And like Smith I don't think he's as good as some others think he is. He's a player who never fails to give it 100% and is capable of some very good games. He's also one of those players who when he doesn't have a good...
It probably was. That said I quite like this new 'umpires call' use of VAR. It's much better than last year when any and everything was being given as a penalty even if it means we missed out this time.
