As mentioned I did the Albion marathon as well yesterday. I actually quite enjoyed it, but have picked up a really sore left foot so hobbling around today! It was a mental challange as well as a physical one, but I found the other runners very friendly and supportive, I was amazed at the...
Saw IDLES support Wolf Alice at the Roundhouse last week. First time I have seen both bands live. Both excellent although not 100% sure about IDLES. The lyrics (looked them up when I got home) are excellent. Wolf Alice are a brilliant live band, Ellie Rowsell is a great lead singer!
What has happened to our away support? Everton only the lower tier on sale and nowhere near selling out, Cardiff nowhere near the full allocation, about half the away end at Newcastle, smaller allocation at Anfield. I thought it was impossible to get an away ticket! I think only Watford...
Morning all. Had a gready day Sunday, nice meeting up to renew my battle with Guinness Boy . Weather was pretty much perfect and as others said the course was not too crowded and people pretty much running at the same pace from the start, so no weaving in and out. I decided to really go for it...
Morning all
I did the GNR on Sunday, wow what an amazing event. I have never run with 45,000 people before. The organisation is amazing, the crowd support amazing and the course I found to be quite tough as felt like constantly running slightly uphill! We were lucky and have mates living...
I have been so busy since returning that there is not at the moment. I need to add a lot more but at least I have the pictures up and I can add more text soon.
Absolutely loved it. We found the food OK, just the Russian Vodka that was a bit ermmmmm ROUGH! Thought the locals really embraced the tournament, I loved it, from the football (for once) to all the different places we visited, made even better by a really great reception and hospitality from...

Being stupid but how would you keep count of laps completed? I know I could measure it by my watch but would there be some way of counting laps? I have done a 4 lap HM (which I didnt enjoy) and a 6 lap Ultra (which was great fun) but I have to say 60 laps is not that appealing to me, BUT its...
Morning all. As knocky1 has already mentioned the highlight of my weekend was buying him a cup of tea! It was great to get a PB on Saturday morning, I was going to do Worthing as I hear that is a good PB course but got up a bit late so went to option 2 Hove Prom. Training has been going well...
I ran at 7pm last night and it was 28c on the Worth Way! Not ideal running conditions at all, we all took it easy and everyone had plenty of water with them. I cannot wait for it to cool down. My next run was supposed to be Thursday but the forecast is now for 29c at 7pm but feeling like 34c...
Indeed I do, my Worthing time was 49.12 but my PB is 48.54 at the Brighton 10k on the 19.11.2017. Well spotted.
I am doing the Bright10, 2 weeks after Loch Ness so I should hopefully have receoved by then.
Afternoon all. Sorry not been on for a while as been traipsing round Russia for no good reason over the last few weeks!
Anyway I missed the Phoenix 10k, hope that those that did it had fun, I imagine a few dropped out?. I did a couple of races recently, the run through organised Chase the...
