I'll put them in the priority queue on my playlist. Just fed my chickens - you should have seen them come running when I opened the back door. Cartoon-style chicken sprinting, thought they were going to keel over the way they were bouncing all over the place.
For those who like girls with fuzzy guitars playing frenetic 2 minute pop songs that sound a bit like The Pixies:

It's also possible that people voting yes are top rate tax payers already, or 40% tax payers who are making donations to charity. In addition, not paying tax due is an offence whilst charitable giving is a choice - people react differently to things that are mandatory and may tolerate a higher...
I agree that greater tax efficiency should be the first port of call. I disagree that people voting yes are liars though, they just have a different value system.
I would pay more, but I agree that a tax rise should be targeted - much better to take more tax off people who do not need to spend what they earn than to take tax off everyone.
Been from Malaga to Nerja twice in the last five years - easily done on public transport, as per Boroseagull's post above. Doesn't hurt to know the bus times in advance - you can google those. The bus drops you in Nerja next to the taxi rank. Unless you're staying out of Nerja or right next to...
I think you can sneak in a metal track or three too. My knowledge of HM is limited to the era 1981-1983. I was fairly shocked when I first heard Metallica's Metal Militia - sounds fairly normal now but at the time thrash metal was new. I think I was always more of an AC/DC type though.
OK. Thanks to my sender - clearly a fan of hard rock and metal, but with a lighter side and an open mind on other genres, especially gravitating towards music of black origin. This was almost a disc of two halves - lots of rock, then it changed direction and closed on a classic note. My...
Dave, I'm not arguing - and that's because I've also got a degree in modern languages, from the same university as you, if memory serves. And that's not all: my wife also has the same degree from the same university - crazy, man. I think it's called a tréma, but I'm not 100% sure. Really I...
I'm enjoying the commentary at the moment - it sounds like muffled traffic noise, with the occasional distant smattering of chatter borne on the wind. The overall sensation is not dissimilar to being put under a general anesthetic.
Just to add a few bits of information to your (excellent) post: yes, Huggy Bear were a riot live, you always remember gigs with a palpable tension in the air. There were usually hecklers and songs that went wrong, but that's (boy girl) revolution for you.
The Go! Team track is a bit poppy, a...
You were right the first time - it was me. Sorry for the delay - just back from holiday. I can address your review points, when I have a moment. Thanks for the detailed review, always makes it worthwhile when the recipient makes the effort! Cheers....
I have a strong, fairly irrational dislike of people wearing sunglasses other than on their eyes. My least favourite look is sunglasses tucked into the V of a white/black V-neck t-shirt (ie Simon Cowell style). My next most hated is sunglasses worn on the back of the head. Sunglasses perched on...
Hey, my CD arrived! Thanks whoever it was. Not sure who the sender is yet. Looks like it's quite heavy, but with a fair bit of variation - funk, electronica and punk (amongst other genres) are all represented. Who makes a CD like this then, eh? 16 tracks, one song I already have (Boris - Pink)...
