I think the issue is deciding whether Sussex by the Sea is a ‘walk out song’ or a pre-kick off song.
Everton have Z cars as they walk out.
Chelsea have the Liquidator as they walk out.
Man Utd have This is the One as they walk out.
They all play different songs pre-kick off. In my opinion...
If a home match has to move, Friday night is my preference. Bugger that for away matches though.

Shin pads are a relic of the days when players used to dribble the ball up the field in a pack. Lots of hacking went on from the opposition trying to retrieve the ball. They don’t really serve much purpose in the modern game and certainly don’t prevent serious injuries.
There are plenty of alternatives used on other invasion games that could be tried instead of the current offside law (which I still think is fine).
Amend it so it only states attacking players must be behind the ball at all times in a similar way to rugby.

But crucially, with a ‘daylight’ change, you are giving the advantage to the attacking team leading to more goal scoring opportunities and hopefully more exciting matches.
