100% with you. Take something like Norway off the shelf for now, kick the can down the road a bit and everyone (especially us now) can have a bit of breathing space to work out what they want.
Here's the thing. They have to be seen to have tried to do the right thing, which would be to form a Government if they could.
However, they are ITCHING for another election, I imagine. The sooner the better. If they can get one whilst May is still leader, they'll be supremely confident of...
Has anyone mentioned the huge impact that tactical voting had?
In Scotland there was a huge pro-union tactical vote.
And locally the evidence is clear that a progressive, anti-Tory vote coalesced.
The reason the vote was so polarised was it was effectively progressive alliance vs regressive...
Funny how when a group of disenfranchised voters came out to support Brexit, all the talk especially in the right-wing press was of 'legitimate concerns.'
Now a group of equally disenfranchised voters came out for Corbyn, they've been bribed.

Survation who did a better job than most with the election have Labour on 45, Tories on 39.

An immediate election is awful for The Conservatives. They need a bit of time to consider the leadership question and try and get some policy together. The last thing any Tory wants is TM fighting another election, surely?
The Tories are so gullible that they wasted £1.2m on Facebook adverts that can be avoided, switched off and sink without user engagement.
I'm not convinced these Tory ads didn't turn some young voters to Labour.
Labour got it for free from Stormzy, Lilly Allen and people sharing new media with...
And Boris is more of the same.
Lies, evasion, smears, with the added bonus that he's a Bullingdon boy. Labour would relish another campaign like that.

Fair enough, we have different value judgements on that Parliament but **** me the loonies have taken over the asylym since the ld's departed for sure.
It's where the Tories got 'strong and stable' from so its certainly not a campaigning guide.
I'm guessing its not all bad. Just the racism, genocide and warmongering.

It was my first thought when I saw the exit poll. It's not unlikely. TM might go, Boris might stand and if he did he would have a decent chance of winning especially against Ruth Davidson (should she get a Westminster gig) as the Brexit extremist.
If he moderates his position on the single...
I'd shudder more at the idea of Theresa May limping along with an ineffective Government til 2019. That's the bind the Tories are in right now. They have just the right length of rope to hang themselves properly but not enough to do much else with.
Labour improved its position in seats, and share of the vote both in total and relative the the Tories.
Honestly though, the important thing is they got a result that ensured a word that TM throws around a lot but demonstrate nothing of for themselves. Stability. Arguably they've not had it...
He's obviously read Marx and he's an influence for sure. Marx is an influence on more than you imagine I guess. I find it hard to understand how someone can throw Marxist round in a pejorative sense and not have read 'The Communist Manifesto.' It's not even a long book. I've read 'The Prince'...
You're right, if I were you I'd prefer the certainty of knowing the leader of the party I voted for isn't up to it rather than just suspecting.
Sounds a strong voting methodology. You don't live in Brighton Kemp Town by any chance do you?
