The more I read these threads the more I HATE our recruitment team.

Its easy to get the "romance" back. For a start make it the last game of the domestic season again (other than play offs) and 3pm ko. We will never have endless replays etc but stop putting it in the middle of a prem league programme.

But so many others have gone on loan and we were nowhere near them FFS Holt Taylor Fletcher Sagbo list goes on. There is something ROTTEN about our player recruitment.

I get that it would have been silly to gurantee it, however the fact remains that people would have signed up on the promise either tacitly, implied, expressed or stated that there would be an expectation of Prem League footy within 5 years.
