Windies 242-3. Brathwaite on 104, Blackwood on 70. Leach has bowled a lot of overs (35), occasionally threatened but personally I'm not convinced that he can take multiple wickets on a turning pitch. Pace attack has bowled OK but meh.
So a draw beckons. We have sorted out our batting...
There are some judgemental twats posting in this thread. **** me, the next time my neighbor fires up the BBQ, I'll be there with a bucket of water. And don't get me started on woodburners - let's block their flue, that'll learn em.
We've got 3, if it was me I'd have binned them off. Only home game I have enjoyed this season was beating Leicester 2-1. Since then, it's been poor.
However, my fellow ST holders have said give it another season. So I will. I quite like the pies, so.......
Okay. So how often does Potter show his appreciation for the home support, vs the same for the away support? And how often does he shoot off down the tunnel on the final whistle at the Amex?
I like to clap the team off. But that is fast becoming a vanishing tradition.
My view is that...
I think we started a downward spiral after Boo-gate, and Potter's public rebuke of the home support following. He made it clear he values the away support more.
And the team continues to not perform at home.
And so the spiral of negativity continues.
Yes. The Submariner agrees. I think Lallana does too.
Lots of talk about levels, a bad day at the office, bouncing back. Hope so.
If we're not properly at it against Villa, we're going to get hammered.
