We are a bunch of techincally competent players but our squad has very little power and very little pace (bar Lamptey) which is why we are so ponderous going forward.

March, Gross, Trossard, Macallister, Moder and Maupay are all so slow with no power and no pace. Think we need 3 of them out for people with the ATTRIBUTES in that we need. From that, id get rid of March, Gross and one from Tross (form and contribution is alarming), Moder or Macallister. No threat. We know it. The opposition know it. The players know it. Potter has been very poor too and seems to be uninspiring to everyone.

Moder and Mac are both exceptional talents but we need to work out how to get the best from them. Both suffer from being versatile. But part of management is working out how to get the best from what you have. And we’re failing on that with those two and Alzate. Give them a chance to grow into a position but don’t nullify their obvious talents by demanding so much versatility.

Cantor said that this should’ve been 7-0.

No one knows why Sanchez wasn’t red carded on Saturday, it would’ve been a cricket score with ten men for 75 minutes.

Burnley and Villa at home out played.

Cantor is a dick then, but I already knew that.

The stats suggest Spurs took their chances whilst our players shat themselves in the last third.

Spurs had seven shots on target, only a complete dickhead would think they should have all gone in

My loathing of Kane ramped up even futher, he’s a cheat and how he didn’t get booked is a mystery

Statistically Gross is one of our best players. He doesn’t have pace but he does create chances. Moder is (and will continue to grow into) a good/great player. Trossard I find so infuriating. Yes, he has skill and can dribble the ball but he so rarely passes first time. The tendency seems to be to need to beat everyone rather than making space and crossing or shooting. March is very up and down. In his day he is very good but on his off day he poor. Sentimentally, I want him to stay but I just don’t think he has the consistency or the quality. If he’s happy having 20 mins every few games the great.

Personally, I’d hang on to most of what we have. We need to sign new players, competition for places and, as you say, with attributes that we are missing. Ie, pace. A willingness to shoot, pace, the ability to shoot, pace. I honestly don’t know who to suggest, but at this rate. Throw Ferguson in for a few games. I’ve always liked Carlos Vela and `Josef Martinez. Appreciate the MLS is very different but they’re two superb attacking players who may be able to do a job for us. I doubt it’ll ever happen due to work permits and the points system needed to get into the prem.

First part of the second half we moved the ball quickly and looked more threatening. Why cant we do that for longer periods?

Isn't this part of a wider issue. We can't put together a 90 minute performance. At the moment we can't put together more than 10 or 15

Our biggest problem currently imho. We can’t play consistently well for more than about twenty minutes. Usually we start slowly, give up a daft goal and by then it’s too late.

Has someone hacked your account? Lol Icy, it's only a game and one of opinions - One thing is certain, Conte has GPs number.

Alas, I fear, we are at the turning of the tide.

Confidence is a big thing, lets have the break, re-group and we can turn the corner. Record points tally still achieveable

Emperors new clothes. Biggest load bollocks in too flight football. Did Cloughie need to do a course? Paisley? Dalglish? Ferguson? Klopp? Moanrinho?

Since the ManU game we have been pretty poor. Slow build up, seems like no urgency in the team and shots on target is virtually zero. We had a free kick in the game tonight 1st half just in their half. Two passes later Zanchez had the ball. It seems there are no positive forward passes that can hurt the opposition. The players and subs have no confidence ATM but they have to keep going as they are the ones to get us out of this pridictament. Six losses on the bounce is hard to take but the PL is a hard knock life.

You can't write off moder. He's fast and strong and has massive potential. Just a kid.

I didn't Dwayne. I kept him as one of the 3. Wouldn't say he is a kid though. Don't get the hype on here but yeah could be promising.

The best modern managers are implicitly great with players, their ups and downs, and bring on youth. Klopp and Guardiola do this as a matter of course, but still make the tough decisions.

They're not exceptional talents though are they? I'd keep them but they wouldn't get into any team who are above us. Agree about the versatility bit.

Agree. Can’t think of a more universally hated England captain. Certainly not in my lifetime. Kane us loathed by everyone bar Spurs fans.

100% agree. The problem is we've gone from having too many CBs to having too many midfielders who will all want to play regularly or they'll want out. Leaving aside Biss (who's on his way out - probably gone already by the look of him), Gross (probably going) and Lallana (less and less availability as the years move on) that leaves Moder, Mac, Alzate, Mwepu, Caicedo - and possibly Kozlowski - who will all be wanting to feature regularly in midfield. Fitting them in will test Potter's skill.
