Sad. He was my PE teacher at Shoreham Grammar for 4 years. His son, Michael, was in my class too. Michael was a super footballer and cricketer. Denis was very likable and a good teacher, from what I remember, but it was a long time ago. RIP and thoughts to his family.

Not somebody I would particularly like to meet, certainly wouldn't fancy a pint in the pub with him, but he did ok. Remember, the 2010 election was the one they said that "nobody wanted to win", we were in such sh*te, so maybe 6/10 from me.

The trouble with Golf betting is that so many could win it. As Paul McGinley said last night, he could make a case for 50 of the field to win it. Looking forward to it, though, should be a good one, and a real test for them. Hope the wind is there a little, but not too much to ruin it. I like...
