Dale Stephens Summer 2016 shenanigans (Merged Thread)

What is wrong with people. If you get that upset about football, you really need to get a life. Social media might give everybody a voice, unfortunately that includes the idiots.

Dale Stephens Summer 2016 shenanigans (Merged Thread)

The club wouldn't be doing its' job if they didn't think it may happen and be prepared for it.

    Most agonising pain?

Toothache is bad, because you can't get away from it. I would have to say the pain when I had bowel cancer 2 years ago was probably the worst, not constant but when it hit it was unbearable - I was rushed to A&E twice and put on morphine immediately. It's funny though, the human body has a...

    Home cures for ailments.

Discussed with my GP - apparently they no longer recommend it, they no longer think it is as effective as they once did. He said it hurts a lot and chances are it won't cure it. The only person I know had the injection, it worked for about a month, then came back - she said it wasn't worth it.

    Home cures for ailments.

I have the inserts the physio gave me, and I've tried rolling balls/cold cans under my feet - really hurts. I did the exercises for months, nothing seems to help much. For a very common ailment, no-one seems to know much about it.

    Conor Chaplin

Really ? I know him, he was my nieces' boyfriend. That's not him at all. At 15 he was tiny - I'm very short and he was smaller, he was with Pompey at the time and I could not see him getting to be a pro because he was so small.

    Home cures for ailments.

If anyone knows anything that works for Plantar Facilitis that would be good, I've tried everything my GP and physio have suggested and still in heaps of pain after 10 months - unable to walk pretty much.

You won't ever eat at SUBWAY again !

Surely you didn't need to be told that, I was just stating the obvious.

You won't ever eat at SUBWAY again !

I'm surprised that anyone is surprised. All these places are the same low, low quality food for lazy, unhealthy people. The only thing I would say, if you happen to be an in-patient at RSCH, Subway - the only real on-site alternative - is still better than the hospital food.

Willy Wonka gone to the chocolate factory in the sky

Have to say, I thought he'd gone a couple of years back - he's not been looking too well for a while. A lovely man, though, RIP.

Is there more business to be done for us in the transfer window?

Given the usually accuracy in Argus reporting, presumably the actual quote was "I'm shipping 14 players out this week and hoping to bring in 27"

Newcastle United Vs Brighton & Hove Albion ***Official Match Thread***

Fair enough. Personally, I'm happy with the US Open - I'm starting to think I far more enjoy watching Cricket, Tennis and Golf these days, than some over-paid namby-panby soccerball players.

Newcastle United Vs Brighton & Hove Albion ***Official Match Thread***

Official match thread still going ? Is the game still on ? No that we would have scored if we were still playing after 2 days.

Are you a music snob quiz

2/10. I struggled with the Radiohead question as it's all shite. I realised that I am a music snob when it occurred to me recently that whether I liked it or not, ABBA was the soundtrack to my early teens.

    Anthony Knockhaert

Everybody has a price, but he is the root of everything good that we do at the moment. It's a trade-off, can we use the money to get someone as good or better ? I have no idea, I leave it up to the professionals.

From about '74 through to the last game - not all the time, I did go home sometimes.

No problem with Holloway at all - he just loves his football, and seems like quite a nice chap.
