I'm lying here in my hospital bed in RSCH and can't even see out of the window. Shame, probably quite a nice view from here !

Is there such a thing as a perfect murder?

I've seen lots of episodes of Columbo, and thy never get away with it. To quote the crumpled 'tec from Prescription Murder "we do this 100 times a year, a murderer gets one chance to get it right"

    Any positives from yesterday?

I agree he looks good as a sub, maybe should have come on a little earlier, but some skills against tiring legs really shows.

    Any positives from yesterday?

It was always going to be a tough one. Yup, a few good performances and our hardest remaining game on paper out of the way. That and the other results, all in all, no real damage done.

The Sack Race and the next to go ?

Could be wrong but I suspect they'll stick with him when they go down - and it will be a "when" this time around, they've dodged that bullet far too many times.

    Whatever happened to Mornington Crescent?

No, that would have been a Phalange ruling. I think the Aswan perfunctory is still in play.

    [Albion] Knockaert without Bruno

Undoubtedly he's better with Bruno behind him, but there was very little space anyway down the right last night, and he does need a bit of room to accommodate his style. If fact there didn't seem to be much space anywhere on the pitch, mostly, is their pitch smaller ?

Do you want Scotland to be a part of The United Kingdom?

Instinct says "better together", but in reality, what do the Scots do for us ? It seems to be all one way. I think they'll struggle without our support, but if they go it alone ... f*ck 'em.

Advice needed on investing vs savings / mortgage

That's what I did. Mortgage paid off 12 years ago, bought a flat in central Brighton which pays me £750 pcm, plus the value of the flat has nearly doubled. I know as a landlord I will be seen as the devil by some on here, but it was a good investment - especially as health dictates much of my...

Leeds scare the cr*p out of me - I'll be watching from behind the sofa. Of course, if Newcastle and Hudders have already lost by then, then we have nothing to lose.

Advice needed on investing vs savings / mortgage

I've not worked out how much it saved me, admittedly I was lucky with market timings etc. not skill or judgement, but I paid £280k for my house, had a One Account flexible mortgage and paid it off in 5 years. House is now worth £800k. So, that's about 20 years of mortgage payments saved, I guess.
