When I was on the transplant list I had to answer everything as "the call" could come at any time, and I wouldn't know the number it was calling from. I shall have that pleasure again in a couple of years.
I thought maybe it was me. A couple of years ago I could watch most games - I enjoyed watching the likes of Southampton, Stoke, and yes, even Palace, but this season particularly there are very few matches I care about. Just look at today's offering Boro/Watford and Saints/Burnley - couldn't...
Thanks. Yes, you see very little difference at first, but you do eventually, then the balance start to go down faster and faster. I appreciate not everyone is in a position to do it though.
When I was earning, I overpaid on my mortgage every month until it was paid off - yes, it took a few years, but I consider it the best thing to have done, so I own my house. Once it was paid off, I became a social pariah and bought another property to let, though I did try to keep the rent down...
According to last years UK figures, Android usage was up slightly from 51% to 53% and iOS was down by about the same to 35%. I suspect US iOS figures may be higher, but I don't know. I write apps for a living, but only Android. at the mo, no plans to do iOS but maybe.
Hmm, life kinda changed quite radically. 7 years ago I worked in the city, well paid, long hours, didn't see too much of home or have time to do owt else. Then, I got bowel cancer and kidney failure, took voluntary redundancy, so now I'm home all the time, kidney dialysis 3 hours a day - so...
I bought a Blu-Ray about 3 years ago and have used it, maybe 4 times. I was given a DVD of Theory of Everything last xmas, and I had to dig out the speakers in order to watch it. I have a pile of DVDs just sitting there
I had no idea who it was either - from the name I didn't know whether it was male or female. The only bell that Kardashian rang was the name of a lawyer that worked on the defence for OJ Simpson, and I only know that because I caught a bit of the appallingly bad recent drama about the case.
While you're supping up, spare a thought for those of us - well, me really - who have no kidneys. Long gone are the days when I could drink what I want, nothing for me any more, boo-hoo.
None of which matters at international level. You don't get to coach much, all you need to do is pick the right players, in form and briefly organise them - oh, and don't let them near any dentist chairs.
Really ? As someone who is on the transplant list I think it's quite offensive. If you think which team you support is more important than life or death then you really need a reality check.
I doubt they had any choice with open borders. They should, of course, have been stopped, held and processed in the first EU country that they arrived in.
