My big fear is that now that suppliers know the Albion are flush with cash they will put up the price of a bag of Starburst from the already exorbitant £3.50
That’s not correct. Would only make an £80m profit if the player was from the academy or acquired via a Bosman. Profit is calculated as sales price less book value, which itself is original purchase price less accumulated amortisation.
The Chelsea £110m limit comments come from a couple of ITK Twitter accounts from smart posters who are however speculating wildly about some fairly critical figures, specifically income, wages, player sale profits, amortisation and covid/Abramovich frozen asset allowances.
I can stick numbers...
That's not the TB/PB way though. There's no asking price as such. Much more a case of make the club an offer and an appropriate response will be made. I suspect the £40m asking price in the article is Grade A BS
Looks like a charm offensive from Chelsea in relation to some of their pet journalists to encourage an article that shows the club in a positive light.
Watching the Albion's 'best of' reel on YouTube does show that RS is a superb shot stopper, but the modern keeper needs a more rounded...
At 10 am big queue and wait
By 11 am queue had gone and I was in, out and finished in three minutes*
There's no hurry, and plenty of tickets will be available for individual matches. If really keen, then if not already signed up, MyAlbion+ is worth considering.
