[NSC] Should NSC just be a football forum?

    Unlike on the Argus!

    [Misc] I’ve written a BOOK

TB did, suspect it was clumsily phrased, meant to say he brought algorithms to Brentford, not football in its entireity. Glad you are enjoying it, means a lot.

[NSC] Should NSC just be a football forum?

Many years ago when I was sleeping in my car at night and having to take a shower and shave in the local swimming pool before turning up to work I can assure you NSC was my nearest and dearest. God Bless It and all who binfest in it. A pox on those who try to censor and stifle it, who always...

[NSC] Should NSC just be a football forum?

Is there also a YourMumsNet? If so one of our posters might want to visit it.

[NSC] Should NSC just be a football forum?

I would be in favour of NSC being a football only forum, but since learning to read as a child it has hugely helped me to distinguish between those topics I want to look at and those that I don’t.

    [News] Middle East conflict

TBF Israel sends you a leaflet before they benevolently kill you. Which according to their biggest fan on NSC makes them the good guys. Hamas are opportunistic scumbags who use their people as sandbags, but that doesn’t justify those sandbags being killed as collateral damage.

It might be more helpful if they dropped water and medicine rather than leaflets.

    [Albion] RIP Gerry Ryan

I can remember singing with Ernest and Jacko at away matches (to the tune of There’s No One Quite Like Grandma by the St `Winifred’s School Choir) (Boom boom boom) Gerry we love you, Gerry we do Though you may miss open goals, we still love you And one day, when we’re older, we’ll look back and...

    [Albion] RIP Gerry Ryan

We have now lost three players from the 1983 Cup Final. Cherish the memories, rest in peace.

    [Albion] RIP Gerry Ryan

I was lucky enough to see Gerry score against Liverpool both home and away in victories against Liverpool. Hugely underrated player. He's been in a nursing home for a few years back in Ireland and unwell for some time.

[Misc] University Open Days - what to look for.

All four of those are great student cities. I would always encourage someone to follow their passion at Uni, make the most of the facilities, as you have the rest of your life being told what to do in employment, but do much more than just study. Employers are looking for four broad things...
