I guess Cullip has agreed terms with the "hostile club" but the clubs have not agreed a fee. If we were to play him tomorrow and he got injured the transfer would fall through and we could end up with Cullip leaving for nothing at the end of the season.
How long would it take a club (AFC wimbledon for example) to start from scratch in the bottom league (whatever its called now)and work their way up to the football league assuming they got promoted each season?
I can't understand why Cardiff want to build a potential 60,000 capacity stadium just 1 mile away from an existing, world class 80,000 seater stadium? Just how many stadiums does Cardiff need? Seems to Sam Haman only wants to use the prospect of a new stadium as a ploy to get the site and then...
More money for the old men in blazers who fall asleep in the members pavillion. More money for Sky from sponsers and subscriptions. Less interest in cricket from the general public. Well done ECB. Another nail in the coffin for English cricket.
The Albion have excellent links with Arsenal (Liam Brady the most obvious). I believe a number of young Arsenal players were/are available for loan deals but I guess money is so tight that it has not happened yet.
With the financial position of the club at the moment one thing for sure is that Sheff Utd will get him at a bargin cash deal price. I reckon 300K will be about the figure. Two seasons ago when he was one of the best young centre backs outside of the premier league it would have been £750K+...
The rumour was that the man Cullip would struggle to pass a medical due to knee problems. I am surprised he has stayed with us for so long so maybe an injury has stopped him being sold in the past.
If he does go (and how many times have we had rumours like this in the past!) then I think the...
It is just typical of the sensationalist s**t stirring tabloid press that has evovled over the past 10 years as they battle to hold on to their readership.
I hope Millwall FC are able to take the Sun to court and sue them for this bit of shameful journalism. Ironicaly their are still probably...
I can't see how we could pay even 10% of his wages given our current financial situation.
The only chance is if West Ham see it as an oppertunity to help their promotion chances by basically giving him to us for free for the rest of the season in the hope that he will find his scoring form and...
I can't believe that the FA ticket rules allow the home team to charge up front for tickets before the away club has started to sell. I can understand them doing this for extra tickets above the 15% allocation but surely the initial 15% allocation should be given to the opposition with no up...
If he does come on loan then please make it for the rest of the season. There is nothing worse than a good player only staying around for 4 or 5 games and then leaving.
I remember the playoffs back in the early 90's when the Millwall fans started fires in the own stands, then started fighting with each other and then with the police. Last thing I saw in the ground was a guy playing football on the pitch with a coppers helmet whilst signalling to the Brighton...
Single sales for the first week in Jan are normally low. So with plenty of people going into town for the Jan sales, if Virgin and HMV have decent stocks and promote the single well it could make all the difference. I hope someone from the club/record company will have a word with the...
We sold over 5500 when we played Liverpool away in the FA cup back in the early 90's.
We took 30,000 to Cardiff only 6 months ago.
Selling 7000 tickets for a match against a famous London club is not beyond us!
Can't see Spurs giving us 7000 straight away though but maybe extra may be...
Zamora for his all round play and goals record was the best.
John Byrne 2nd as he was just pure class. Partnership with Mike Small was one of the best the club has ever had.
3rd Nogan. I think Nogan was a class striker who had to play in a pretty poor Albion team. Wasn't he on the verge of...
Funny how Knight seems to be linked with managers who have either played for or managed the club in the past (Copout & Curbs).
Maybe they are going to do us a favour by paying loads of dosh for Leon just in time to save the club from a cash crisis just like Howard Wilkinson did with Beeney a...
