Can't argue with his record but never really against top class opposition. Also when he is playing, and this isn't his fault, but defenders look for the long ball to often and it gets obvious, you can see Terry go "Oh there's nothing on so instead of playing it out i'll just try and stick it on...
Probably not, wasn't a bad player when he was with us, blew hot and cold but ran Manchester City all over the park. Compared to Lua Lua he's nothing special, then again not a bad player to bring on as an impact sub I guess.
All about opinions I guess. I wouldn't say Brez was "far, far, far better" though. Like another poster said it would have been interesting to see if Gus had kept him on.
I'm sure given the option he would rather play every week but he's got himself a spot as a back up keeper in the Championship. The lad ain't done bad for himself considering he was released by us. Like I said, I wouldn't have let him go, don't think there's too much difference between him and...
Fair play to him. Always thought he was a pretty solid keeper, nothing special but did a job. Personally I would have kept him. He's probably on a decent bit of money to sit on a bench week in, week out, well done to him I say.
Everyone keeps banging out about a 25+ goal scorer but do people realise how difficult they are to find. Only 3 players did it in league 1 last season. Lambert 31,
Paynter 26, Beckford 25. And that was it. Getting rid of Murray would be a dreadful decision.
