    Evening Seagulls

I'm expecting us to go down, anything else is a big bonus. I'm not thinking at all about football yet - to me, football means "winter" and I'm not ready for that yet. I'm happy with cricket, tennis and golf at the mo

[Albion] How many players SHORT are the Albion right now?

Without specifying positions, it would be nice to have 4 more players including a little prem experience - I have no idea which of our current squad can make the step up. However, I trust in the club to do what's right and only spend what we can afford. If we go down this year - we go down, no...

Gareth Thomas Documentary - Homophobia in Football

I agree. I don't recall any time in my career of over 30 years where anyone has shown signs of homophobia, and I have worked with openly gay men and women, plus, presumably, a number who were not open about it. I don't think it's ever been an issue - and this is in a rather laddish environment...

Gareth Thomas Documentary - Homophobia in Football

I've said for a while that the first footballer to come out, provided he is reasonably marketable, will make a bundle in endorsements. The only downside I can see is the remaining few dinosaurs in the stands.

    Ulloa anyone?

I don't think anyone know the answer to that until he is tried at that level.

Dodgy pop up just served by NSC on my phone.

A couple of times in the last few days my Malwarebytes program has reported a problem with NSC and closed the tab down. So, wasn't infected but is obviously detecting something a bit iffy

Long thread on it a couple of weeks ago, I think

Once you to these two, this thread is redundant

    Inmates on death row

Personally I can't condone the state taking a life - in my book it makes them as bad as the offender. I can absolutely empathise with the sentiment of someone being wronged wanting justice/revenge, whatever you want to call it, and in their shoes I might well feel the same, but from a distance...

    Waitrose vs M&S Food

Yet, you go in there, so I presume young Tarquin and Daffodil are ok once you've rounded them up. Quite funny seeing peoples' prejudices - which obviously doesn't include themselves, heaven forfend !

What Picture do you have Hanging in your Living Room?

I have 3 watercolours that I did. Quite proud of those efforts. Around the house, all paintings bar one are by me, the other being done by a professional painter friend.

    Supper?

I doubt you are actually "hungry" - it may be a habit, but hungry I can't see it after all that lot.

    Supper?

Dinner is the main evening meal, supper is anything taken later in the evening. Tea is a drink.

    Cats or Dogs?

Edna - I don't know where you live, but I guess I might do.

    Cats or Dogs?

Both, but then my parents ran a dog boarding kennels and cattery when I was growing up, so I was surrounded by many of both .... plus 5 sheep, 3 horses, 40 chickens amongst others. I have 2 cats myself, I would have dogs as well if I could

    [Albion] How panicked are you?

Not really. I trust in our management .... no, I really do.

    Ripen in the bowl

A complete con. Nobody ever says "you know what ? In 3 weeks time I might fancy a nice ripe plum or two". If I ever go into the co-op in Shoreham, they have nothing else except Ripen at home stuff. Just a way of getting you to save them money. Another one I saw recently was "unwashed salad...

What do you actually pay for your Sky TV package?

Currently something like £120 a month, but am about to go through all of my outgoings with the aim of reducing them where possible. I am aware you can probably get a "deal" from Sky by threatening to leave, but have not tried it yet.

    Enema advice

I've had bowel cancer, been there, done that. When I had a colonoscopy they admitted me in overnight beforehand, and as far as I recall, they gave me the drink that clears you out thoroughly ... and quickly.

    Do you wet shave?

Nope, and I never have. I didn't even know it existed until I was in my 20s. I guess because my dad always used an electric razor, so I did too. Now I'm in my 50s, I don't intend to try it now.
