Either you got lucky or I was unlucky!
Admittedly I was fine eating from the stalls in Bangkok. I was done in by some noodles by the roadside on the way back from the Bridge over the river Kwai.
It's a horrible, horrible looking kit. Every part is a fail from the white shorts and socks to the thick stripes, the giant 'H' and the fugly yellow trim and pinstripes.
My initial reaction was that it was the worst home kit of my Albion supporting life time. Then I had a look at this...
Don't go to Pattaya. The grimmest place I've ever been to, full of retired Brits, Aussies, north americans, Europeans and russians and their 14 year old 'girlfriends'.
Despite the deliciousness DO NOT eat the street food unless you have the constitution of an Ox. An Ox with a constitution...
I'm still holding out hope that it's an elaborate prank by the club.
Sometimes a team will play their final game in the following years kit. Maybe we could do that from September?
Still, it's only a season. And it's only a kit. But it is remarkably shit.
If that is this years kit I'd respectfully suggest to the club that they go even more conservative when ordering for this season. To the point of not even bothering.
Surely no one sane would sign off on that?
Not only has it got that stupid H look that newcastles kit had last season it's got....well, everyone can see what else it's got.
I reckon that is a piss take and isn't the real kit.
I don't have a problem with the noise, it's part of the 'dance'. It's just that one line that keeps getting pushed by the press of man city walking away from the deal as if they're doing us a favour.
Bloody hell, after months of tedious rumours and no action we finally get a bid and something to talk about and the thread descends into a battle of which journalist is more ITK. Jesus wept.
The one thing that annoys me about the reporting of this all summer is the 'City are willing to walk away from the deal if Brighton don't lower their asking price' line.
We're not a market stall hawking our wares for sale where haggling is expected. They want to buy our player who we don't...
This is true.
At least at the start of the thread we had the giddy expectation/hope that City would actually, you know, make a bid and we could have an exciting transfer saga to while away the endless days of close/pre season.
Now? We have nearly 4000 posts of bland repetition. It's a long...
That article tells us nothing. It quotes Romano's twitter post. Then says it 'understands' it'd take a bid in excess of 50m for Brighton to sell.
It adds nothing to the 'saga' so we're exactly where we've been for the past however many weeks. Namely, City may or may not want him. If they do...
I didn't know that about footballers and MND/ALS. Is it only footballers or all sports people?
Do you know if it's only the professionals that the link is true for?
