[Football] PL introducing multiball system to reduce timewasting

I thought this died a death when the free "kicker" cottoned on to the fact that if he tapped the ball onto the blockers feet the ref would issue a yellow card for not retreating the 10 yards.

If only that were the case ! I personally have yet to see a ref issue a card to someone standing by the ball , normally they just gesticulate to the player to move back or occasionally blow the whistle and then gesticulate ! All the while the clock is ticking aimlessly on .

Proposed new rule: if a team wastes time, the decision goes the other way. If they waste time at a goal kick, it becomes a corner.

That would herald little Schmeical's retirement.
