Yesterday I spoke to my brother who brought down his team down to film the match, they really enjoyed the game and have some great footage.
Apparently they filmed in the same style as Setanta, using the tv gantrys with multiple cameras and switching the camera shots in real time to capture the...
No chance for Luton, they are 11 points behind Chester so even a deduction of 10 points and Darlo going bust will not save them. Chester in admin would surely have to be re-instated.
Just bought a pay as you go dongle from T mobile for 24.99, I can then get unlimited mobile internet for £15 a month with no contract ties. good deal if you want to avoid a lengthy contract and having a costly land line.
Heard Gary Stevens (probably aided by Barry Lloyd and Ken Brown) will represent Bloom in terms of day to day admin/management should he assume control - and DK decide to take a back seat.
DK and Martin Perry should both get life president roles, great servants to the club.
Heard we could have sold around 10,000 for this game by Monday's sell out annoucenment. Reckon we could have shifted about 13-14k. Maybe more with pay on the day available.
While I have faith in the lads getting a result at the weekend I've been considering the motivation levels for our rivals opponents this weekend:
Leeds are certain to finish 4th or 5th and therefore will play either MK Dons or Millwall. Nothing to play for but let's hope they want to put in a...
Teams in admin should be exempt from promotion and play offs. The 10 point rule should be applied immediately on entering administration unless relegation is already certain. In that case the deduction would carry over.
The design clearly includes the option of adding a second tier opposite the main stand. Probably add another 3000 or so to the capacity without any major disruption.
Worth a mention for Darren Currie. exceptional skill, technique and control. Sadly realised just how good he was when he was surrounded by a better calibre players at Ipswich.
From the guy who knew about Gannon coming down:
Gannon is NOT out of the running, DK pushed for a quick decision and feels the rejection was a case of not saying no - just not now. Anyway apparently Dick feels there is still mileage in a Gannon u turn, especially in light of boardroom politics...
Well I had a good chat with the guy who tipped me off about Gannon and he reckons Ince, Rioch, Slade, Pardew and Jean Nobilo (ex Le havre manager) are 4 of the desired interviewees.
