Im another that likes lobster prepared simply. My preference is boil in salt water. Drain thoroughly, add a very generous squeeze of fresh lime and cracked black pepper to taste. Simply perfect.

It’s not complicated at all. If a third party or parties choose to donate you money as a gift, it is not considered remuneration in the eyes of HMRC.

I think you need to check how exactly a gift from outside of your employers remit is dealt with by HMRC before you repeat your error.

Four hours parking in Churchill Square costs £2.50 more than a Family Day Metrovoyager ticket. And that’s before taking into account fuel costs, vehicle depreciation etc.

If they are confirming your successful ticket purchases and are not asking for new payment details, I’d suggest it’s genuine you lucky bugger.
