    [Albion] Premier League 2-4/3/24

The problem at Man Utd is one of perception and expectation. The nature of the English league has always been one of a team dominating, then fading away, sometimes coming back later, sometimes drifting away for a longer period. With occasional upsets/one off wins in the mix. Man U's dominance...

[Finance] ******** The Scam Thread *********

Funny you should mention this. I watched last weeks' "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" and he covered a scam like this. Apparently it's called 'Pig Butchering' https://mashable.com/video/john-oliver-pig-butchering-online-scam - There is a video in the article of the segment of the show, but...

    [TV] Paramount Plus Recommendation

There's a musical episode! The interstitial that is usually that guy in the box introducing themes and stories is replaced by various cast members singing songs. That's in season 5 when you get there.

[Albion] De Zerbi: 'We deserved to lose...I understood the problem in January!"

I'm struggling to work out if this is a serious post, or a sarcastic one intended to highlight where we are as a club. The mere fact that it could be serious is quite something. I'm disappointed with how things have been going of late My albion mojo is really low, I think my general football...

    [Albion] Palace Fans Biggest Fear

Have all clubs started using the term 'tifos'? I often avoid the occasionally repeated 'phrases that annoy you' thread because I believe in the evolution of language, and the ever shrinking world thanks to the internet bringing cultural and lingual variations together. But I might be inclined...

    [Albion] Was it a red?

Similarly, Heung-Min Son's red card for that horror injury to Gomes was overturned, too. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/11855029/tottenhams-heung-min-son-has-red-card-against-everton-overturned

Ooh, forgot Bone Tomahawk, which is a horror/western. Rather gruesome in one particular scene.

Not a massive western fan, but I did enjoy the Coen remake of True Grit, and until Mel Gibson went off the rails, I enjoyed watching Maverick.

    [Albion] Premier League 24-26/2/24

EDIT: Someone else made the point I was going to make to @Weststander What's going on with Brentford? I thought they were just missing Toney and when he returned they would go on a good run. Did they sell or lose some other key players who were overlooked? Is this a delayed 2nd season...

    [Albion] Was it a red?

I don't think it's an either/or. I would say the badge is most important in a given specific incident, but there is also that underlying ideological difference that exist throughout football when looking at 'bigger picture' issues that some in the thread are reaching for.
