I would much prefer a Dongs win. While I have my preferences about who I hope to join us in going up, a bit of breathing space between us and the pack could calm things down.
I was a white member but just noticed the dwindling number of tickets so to avoid the risk of missing out just paid for a blue membership to get tickets for SCC and Hudds.
I would expect both to have sold out by tomorrow and maybe even Hudds today - just down to a last few seats apparently...
Talk of the corners being filled in is premature, we'd need planning permission and probably a large chunk of next season to prove the existing transport links work. It's also likely we will have to find additonal transport capabilites, maybe another park and ride.
I actually think we will...
Random one but Bradford at home in about 95 when Brady was in charge and just before Archer and Belloti's plans became apparent. Stuart Munday scored a late winner followed by the customary pitch invasion. Probably the last untarnished positive atmosphere at the Goldstone. Little did we know.....
Wednesday must be the biggest under acheivers in any domestic league given their spending, backing and budget. Megson is a dinosaur and will be lucky to turn this around.
For all those still looking for Northstand tickets we had our presentation a week ago and the back half of the stand was pretty much sold out and probably down to the front 10 rows for the very central part. Even with the rate of sales there should still be plenty of choice but perhaps not the...
The quickest way for TB to see a return on his money is spending a season in the premier league and knowing we can at least bank the parachute payments if we don't give out silly contracts.
Sounds about right, reliably told we were close to hitting 10k season tickets on Monday and on a good day were flogging close to 300 a day. This did not include nearly 2900 of the 1901 club seats.
Was down at Falmer yesterday, the seats are due to go in last week of the month, but we are a day behind schedule apparently. Pitch is 3 weeks from having grass seeded.
Currenty a day behind schedule overall but they hope this can be made up during the next few weeks.
If we finish above Huddersfield I'm sure we will be promoted. From 13 games they have to gain at least 7 points on us but we do have 6 pointers against SCC and Huddersfield to come.
