It's a done deal but as I said yesterday any talk of fees or dates were probably speculation. We are competing for other targets and using resources to secure these is going to be a priority. I'm 100% confident KLL will be comfirmed in due course. Keep your peepers peeled.

I think we will be told today about KLL regardless of other matters. Another signing is apparently very close to completion so releasing the KLL story (PR at the Amex) is likely to be on hold. Once senior management are free I'm sure we will hear all about the deal.

Disagree. Baldock has the potential to do well at Championship level and should offer an incremental resale value. At the very least he's proven at League 1 level should they be relegated. A lot of clubs (Albion included) are beginning to treat their players (and their contracts) as assets so...

For 3 million I would expect someone like Nicky Maynard. Can't see it happening this season.

Apparently the Yorkshire evening post are reporting that Brighton and Donny are the two clubs in for Kilkenny. Fits with the information I was given earlier today, two concrete offers with one close to Leeds.

So if Bennett goes for 1.5 we should have in excess of 2.5 still to spend..........

It's sound information but I'm NOT saying this is a done deal. He's got at least one other contract offer at Championship level to consider which doesn't require re-location. We should know by end of the week.

Apparently Killkenny will be deciding on move to Brighton in the next few days. He's been in Australia last week or so.

Well Oli Johnson has apparently been on our radar previouly but I have doubts he's what we are looking for this season. Anthonly Macnamee, Cody Mcdonald or more ambitously Simeon Jackson could be more attractive options.

Heard a whisper that an enquiry of cash plus Oli Johnson was made a couple of weeks back, nothing since.
