[Albion] Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Its been a masterclass so far. Completely outplayed Wolves on their own patch. If only we could make that killing last pass or shot this would have been a 4-5 goal margin.

Agree. It's unprofessional. No one looks confident.

    [Albion] Graham Potter's Press Conferences

Did he say " Disappointing , played well, they are a good side and we'll go again " ? sorry that's the post match interview routine. I get confused.

Sussex leading is as rare as an Albion home win. Hurrah !!! :vuvu:

    [Albion] That Ward-Prose free kick

He should never have got anywhere near the edge of the box - Dunk or Cucurella should have cleared the ball near the half wayline but both left it to each other and the player nipped in to progress to the edge of the box. With hindsight they should have let him have the shot as Sanchez probably...

    [Albion] Today’s referee (Saints)

Can't say he really stuck out as poor - some people around me were getting very upset at some minor decisions that went Saints way but I guess the big call was the offside and that was decided by VAR. All Referees tend to stop the game whenever a player goes to ground clutching their face - and...

Sanchez was to blame for allowing the free kick to beat him but the real culprits were Dunk and Cucurella for failing to clear it into the stands on the halfway line. The hesitation between them was criminal and Webster's "pass" lead to the equaliser.. We don't make things easy for ourselves.

[Albion] The waning power of Fortress Amex

I don't get it . Perhaps a tactical wizard can put me straight but the Albion look a different side at home to away. I get to watch some of the away games on stream and apart from the second half against Man City we have been outstanding against City, Arsenal & Spurs. I have had the...

    [Football] Burnley or Everton?

From an Albion point of view I guess Everton - as they are the most likely of the two to finish above us next season. However this season we lost 0-2 & 0-3 at home to both and beat both away.

[Albion] 18th in the home table & fewer goals than anyone else

Wasn't that the game when they "equalised" with the ball about a yard over the goal line but play was waved on by the ref ?

Sorry - but when you haven't seen an Albion goal for about 2 months games and seasons all merge into one !!!

[Albion] 18th in the home table & fewer goals than anyone else

Biggest home win at the Amex is 6-1 against Blackpool under Gus I think. I fancy us to repeat this on Sunday :O
