Be good if Saints or Burnley get the third relegation place and hopefully Cardiff will do a Huddersfield in the second season in the Premier. I can't see Saints going but Burnley's run in is tricky. Cardiff have two huge away games against us and Burnley and home to Palace which they have to...
Thanks, I think I'll just use the Three Bridges replacement. Pain as I have to work alternate Saturday mornings, I'll just have to have one less pre match beer.
I see another rail replacement service is running from Three Bridges.
I travel from Caterham via Croydon for home games but can get to East Grinstead via Upper Warlingham. Can you get a bus or coach from East Grinstead to Lewes, I'm sure I was somewhere the replacement service does run that...
I would take a point, it would ease the pressure a bit on the home games.
Living near Croydon the Palace fans I know are incredibly confident and seem to think it's in the bag, if I'm honest I tend to agree however we have to turn it round at some stage on the road so why not Saturday.
Huddersfield played like most sides in the bottom six or seven do away from home, soak up the pressure and try to hit on the break. Let's be honest they worked our keeper more than we did in the first half.
I noticed at the end of the game several Huddersfield players looked genuinely gutted to...
With the restricted view you won't be able to see the banners, you are lucky to see the pitch.
Palace at home are a different team to away, they are excellent at sitting back soaking up the pressure and hitting teams on the break, hoping for a dull stalemate.
In the second half Dunk and Duffy went up for a set piece and the ball was played short and never got crossed into the box. Duffy was clearly annoyed and trudged back to the half way line. Dunk just tried to calm down the chuntering Duffy who wasn't having anything of it. It's just one of...
While I can see where you are coming from, surely the January window gave us the opportunity to strengthen in positions where we didn't have suitable cover. I hate singling players out but Locadia clearly isn't a CH style wide player as he doesn't track back and cover his full back. WIth...
Do you change a tried and tested formation / system to shoehorn players in to the side. Surely that's what training is all about ensuring that fringe players can fit into the system when required. You might rotate the squad but not the system which while not entertaining was gaining results.
It was all going so well after December, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Tinkered with something that didn't need tinkering with.
It's that balancing act between results and entertainment and I reckon Mr Bloom would rather have the results.
They are all critical matches between now and the end of the season and it is critical we pick up points at home as we don't get many on the road. Therefore in my book it's critical.
All well and good looking at Saints and Cardiff but if we don't get points elsewhere we are doomed.
I haven't read the whole thread (lazy I know) but here is my spin on the manager's future.
If we stay up CH has clearly done his job and deserves to stay on, however if we go down we have a manger with a great record in the Championship and therefore CH must stay.
If we were to address the...
Bit harsh on the defence, first goal Knocky lost the ball and left us exposed and the second the midfield sat off making the initial pass far too easy.
In general we played ok. I'm still confident we can turn this around
