I presume your ticket is in a better part of the ground than the south corners, so it would be more likely to sell. So if they listed it - and the many hundreds like it - now, they would sell quickly and the club would be left with unsold tickets in the south. I think its reasonable for the club...
But the game isn't selling out? If there's no-one to buy the ticket then the seat stays empty, regardless of what you do. If the game does sell out then the exchange will open.
Its been paid for with a big discount based on committing to multiple games. Its not yours to then sell on or give away for free. I'm only available to go to one game, so I paid the full price for that game. Maybe I can justify giving mine away on that basis, but it doesn't apply to season...
I think he will play Dunk and Colwill together - but purely to assess Colwill playing alongside someone he is comfortable with - I think this is the main reason that Dunk is there, or at least why Dunk didn't play on Saturday, so that he can partner Colwill tonight. I'm pretty sure the...
Aren't you basically just suggesting that the club give any unsold tickets away for free? Its a nice idea and all that, but if I'd known that would be the case I wouldn't have bought mine earlier and instead waited for the freebee
Well, I guess maybe it wasn't the best thing you and your mate buying the 3- match package then  Anyway the ticket office can probably move him so he can sit with the other guy.
Club makes a load of money regardless, i just think people who bought these packages got heavily discounted...
I can't imagine there's many regular fans who aren't members, so don't expect purchase history to shift many more. Imagine it will get to open sale eventually.
But he can buy a ticket from tomorrow morning, so hopefully the beer sellers will be happy AND the club will make more money. So win-win really
Think club might be getting concerned about the sales, there is now a massive banner header on the website advertising tickets for sale for this game.
As of Tuesday morning tickets are available for supporters with purchase history only.
tbf to the Newcastle fans, I went on their online forum with the assumption that I'd get a lot of posts defending the Saudi ownership, and in fact found the complete opposite. https://newcastle-online.org/topic/36887-pif-pcp-and-rb-sports-media/page/720/
Assuming Stones is first choice, he's always played on the right of the pair. Dunk also prefers it there, although does move over when Webster plays. Think Dunk would be more comfortable alongside Maguire than Stones.
I don't know if Colwill should be thrown straight into a qualifier, he's still very inexperienced. He's only just come out of the U21s, let him be around the squad a bit first, play in a friendly rather than putting him straight in the deep end.
Some of the attacking football we played in the last two championship seasons was sublime, if he'd had a squad able to do that in the prem, like we do now, then who knows, he could have done well.
What he perhaps lacked was the bravery to shift styles, Potter was very brave when he started...
I just think we're super proud.
But Maguire + Dunk makes most sense from the experience angle, are they really going to throw young Colwill straight into a tricky qualification tie? Isn't he the one more likely to get a go in the friendly?
Really? It was an amazing cross, Giroud has done that to hundreds of defenders, Dunk has been beaten like that before as have basically all centre backs, and Maguire is at least attacking it whereas Stones is marking no-one at the near post where the cross goes - if anyone was going to 'easily...
Wow, is the Brexit thread still going on? Blimey.
Well, it was a bad idea back then, it has proven to be a bad idea ever since and will continue to be a bad idea long into the future.
Now, back to the footy-ball chat
