I watched Civil War last night. I thought it was really good. I had seen some comments about how intense it is, as if it had a constant sense of on edge. I didn't feel it throughout, there was plenty of room to breathe, but it did have some quite tense moments.
Feel like Burnley might be more up for this than us. Not just because of their desperate need for points, but also just the sense of injustice from last weekend, and winning this for the boss.
More dropped points for Leicester, as Plymouth win 1-0. Moves the pilgrims 5 points clear of the relegation zone ahead of the weeked fixtures, hopefully that puts them in a good position to stay up.
I enjoyed
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters - set between Godzilla King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs Kong.
Monster Factory - documentary series following the goings on at a wrestling school
Come From Away - live recording of musical stage show about a small town in Canada that hosted all the...
Their keepers performance in the reverse fixture was massively overstated. Sky Sports tweeted a video of the "five best" save of his ten. One was straight at his planted foot. One was straight at his arm. One was a soft side foot back pass that was no worse than the warm up practice keepers do...
For a while I was more entertained by all the back stage goings on at AEW than the show itself. "Brawlout" and the ongoing fallout from that and whether Punk would stay or go, would he be on Collision etc. Then the drama of the news of the Perry fight just before coming out to face Samoa Joe at...
Thanks!
I guess 'well known' is subjective. I don't usually venture into replies (twitter experience is much better if you don't), so going further than that would be an even bigger stretch for me. Even as a joke, seems a little poor taste.
Little bit of controversy for Carl Rushworth today in the Swansea - Stoke game.
Rushworth caught the ball near his line, ran forward with it (in both hands), and as he was drawing back to throw, he ran past a stoke player who was still standing up and the ball got knocked out of his hand, stoke...
I wsn't a big fan of Joker. Not really a fan of Taxi Driver and it was largely a tribute to that. Though I did recently watch and enjoyed King of Comedy, which was the other main film people compared it to, so maybe I'll give it another try. Anyway, the news the sequel would be a musical piqued...
I saw the news earlier. Mostly the replies are what you'd expect, compliments on his work and attempts to rassure he'll not struggle for work. Sympathy and empathy. Then there was this one:
EDIT for late comers - turns out the reply person is a parody. Supposedly famous, but a lot...

By disruption I meant that they were successful with whatever attack they were planning. That if they can commit an attack despite the extra security it shows that security as ineffective and us as vulnerable despite whatever measure we take. As a terrorist force, that would be the point of...
I was looking at this earlier, and I don't think that the results needed for Palace to go down would be shocking in themselves:
Palace - lose v liverpool, united, West Ham, Newcastle, fulham, wolves and villa
Brentford - beat sheffield united move above palace (also face luton, everton, fulham...
