You have to say that (at the moment - until players bed in) our defence looks weaker and midfield looks less strong too - and possibly very slow. But far stronger in attack.

Normal practice is to pay loan wages until end of June (even though the season ends in May). This fits with typical player contracts. Wouldn't be a surprise if Barca are asking us to pay June at the end of the contract. That might be the confusion. Unlikely they want us to pay June 2023.
