    [News] World’s happiest countries

You just need to be far enough away from the super volcano under Lake Taupo, which is stirring again I read recently, as that has the potential to blow good chunk of the North Island to smithereens! I have had 3 long-ish trips to NZ. I must say I couldn’t get used to walking around even the...

    [News] World’s happiest countries

I went to Israel for 10 days in 2019 and enjoyed the trip immensely. I've been to Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt too. It’s a fascinating region but not the place to go to kick back and relax. Israel does have a certain feel about it that is quite exhilarating - I was pre-warned that I might find...

    [News] World’s happiest countries

Too many ifs and buts in that scenario. Borders and territories are complex, always will be. Geography is important but so is history. You can’t just erase or re-write it, most of the time there is no simple answer to such complexities without risking a lot of unnecessary bloodshed.

    [Albion] Willie Bell RIP

No - I did check it out before posting! My ‘source’ is pretty reliable on such things too, but fair comment!!

    [Albion] Willie Bell RIP

He went on to become Goodwin’s #2 at BIrmingham City and took over when Goodwin got sacked. After a difficult start to the 1977 season he was replaced as manager by one of the directors …….. Sir Alf Ramsey!

    [Albion] Willie Bell RIP

Ex player from the late 60s/early 70s, went on to manage here and in the US before becoming a ‘full time’ Christian, died at age 85. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willie_Bell https://siteselection.com/press/releases/141023-starner-book.html I vaguely remember him doing a Christian based talk...

    [Albion] FA Cup Semi-Final v Man Utd - 4:30pm, Sunday 23rd April

I kind of got that, maybe I should have put the smiley 😊 just to clarify. And you probably got that I got that. And I got that you got that I got that …..

    [Albion] FA Cup Semi-Final v Man Utd - 4:30pm, Sunday 23rd April

Will that phone allow a physical ticket to be printed from it? (= a joke, or an attempt at one at least!)

[Albion] Should there be a Male and Female Sky Sports News ?

But one person’s sad might be another person’s happy. So a crushing Palace defeat, as far fetched as it might sound there are some sporadic pockets out there who might not want that on the happy channel, for example ….

    [Albion] FA Cup Semi-Final v Man Utd - 4:30pm, Sunday 23rd April

I have done the same via JustPark. Cancellation cost is £1, I think I can stretch to that if needed!

[Other Sport] World Baseball Classic & Major League Baseball 2023

I have been to Japan a few times for both work and as a tourist and watched several football matches over a number of years, and also rugby in 2019. Not been to baseball but did visit the Tokyo Dome. I hope you get there one day - I’ve always enjoyed my visits from every aspect, hard to think...

[Albion] Should there be a Male and Female Sky Sports News ?

I resisted the temptation of saying that was why you didn’t like it! When I retire, which I can see approaching on the horizon, I plan to follow England away on as many winter tours as I can squeeze in. Im guessing we won’t be competing with each other for tickets then!

[Albion] Should there be a Male and Female Sky Sports News ?

I love cricket so much I would even watch women’s cricket 😆!

That could be unlucky but it depends. What’s the long number and the expiry date? 🤪

[Football] Chelsea fire their head groundsman & assistant

Bit of a turf war there, it seems. The seeds of doubt were sown some time ago.

To be fair, I wouldn’t describe it as obscure trivia, whatever your age.

Depends - some of the rearranged Palace games are being picked up by the Comedy Channel ….

    [Albion] Disturbing direct debit development.

History will show they only ever had the best interests of the club at heart 😳
