    [Albion] "Legend" Status?

Peter Ward is the legendariest legend, name is still sung 40 plus years after he last kicked a ball for us. To me, who never saw him play, he can't be supplanted because he always was a legend to me, a player I never saw make a single mistake, or have a poor game.

    [NSC] Charity,do you give?

Used to give on a regular basis to Surrey/Sussex air ambulance, but stopped when I started being regularly overdrawn before the end if the month. In better times I would give to select charities on an irregular basis, in amounts that were slightly painful to give, because I feel it isn't giving...

    [NSC] Charity,do you give?

The thing that bugs me most about that is the company issues press releases about the money they have raised for good causes, you are paying for some PR for the company, the real reason they do it.

    [Travel] Tour of the UK

For Stone Henge, you can drive to a road just behind, park up by some RAF barracks, and walk for 10-15 mins to get to a waist high fence that lets you get within a metre if where most paying visitors get to but only on one side of the stones, you can pay more and be allowed inside the stones...

[Albion] Would you take 7th place, if offered now?

The other situations to the norm are English clubs winning Champs Lge, Europa Lge and Europa Conf Lge, but not doing so well in the Premier League. Depending on their Premier league positions we could end up with 7 clubs in the Champions League, not sure if we would get 2 or 3 in Europa League...

[Albion] The difficulty of each Premier League team's first ten games

It tries to make the rankings current, but it is at the end of the day, a refined version of Giraffes tracker, and many factors won't get taken into account that might affect the difficulty of certain opposition for a particular team.

[Albion] The difficulty of each Premier League team's first ten games

It uses OPTA power rankings to rate the teams as hard or easy, here are the power rankings. https://theanalyst.com/eu/2023/09/who-are-the-best-football-team-in-the-world-opta-power-rankings/ and here are the tables and explanations for first 5 and 10 games before the season started, once the...

[Albion] The difficulty of each Premier League team's first ten games

No, teams with harder starts are at the top of the table, marked HARDER. The confusion seems to be that they are ranking the difficulty of the opening 10 games, and we are reading it after having played only 8. Ranking everyone on last 28 fixtures, or first 10, in order to determine difficulty...

    [Albion] Albion Reject XI

Those 4 yes, but Gyokeres has scored 6 in 7 games at Sporting, 21 in the Championship last season, so probably in too, you'd have Trossard, Cucurella, Burn in the squad at least, and with injured Estupinan, Cucurella is in, a tired Mitoma, and inured Enciso and Trossard is in, rotation of CB's...

[News] Teenager stabbed to death in Brighton.

The first 2 arrests were lads from Worthing and Horsham, I have not followed events closely so apologies if I have been inaccurate. The point I was trying to make is that this isn't a disease that has spread via Crawley to Brighton.

[News] Teenager stabbed to death in Brighton.

Drugs, gangs and violence, emanating from London, hit Brighton about 150 years ago, when the train line opened, and Crawley was a 2 horse village.

[News] Teenager stabbed to death in Brighton.

Well, they are if they are stopped and searched, but you can't stop and search everyone,. The one a lad from Horsham and a lad from Worthing were arrested for? Why some worry about Crawley infecting the rest of Sussex with violence and crime when it's already there and always has been, is...
