Unfortunately for Solly his lack of goals and missed opportunities are highlighted by the fact we don't have a striker who can put the ball in the net.
I think that was more gloating Palace fans than Albion. The crowds at the Amex have been amazing from day one (atmosphere not always so good). We do have a big catchment area and probably could add another 5k onto most Prem games if the stadium was expanded.
Some things are debatable, but the Antonio handball "goal" was unbelievable. On MOTD they read out the explanation but that didn't wash. You can't get away with handball and from the direct resulting play score and say it was "second phase". CRAZY.
My ageing father whooped :clap:with delight when I told him the Crawley result on Saturday as we went to the game. He won't forget that they wouldn't entertain the Albion in our hour of need. (awaits NSC informing me that Crawley FC were not to blame for this )
Having been at the Spurs game yesterday my overall feeling after 1 game seen was " that was disappointing" but I came away from many home games under Potter feeling exactly the same. I think the Forest result will enable us to judge things a bit better.
This has to be the correct answer. The only point in football is to try and win something , not finish 4th !
Which is why throwing the Championship title away to Newcastle is still such an annoyance.
