The Ruffian Club/The Guardians of Albion

There has to be an element of 'keeping it real' at Falmer, whichever way you want to dress it up. I didn't march, write, campaign, shout, cry, etc to be sat in a shiny new mausoleum to our great club. There's enough room for all of us. If enjoying a pint and a pie makes me a ruffian - which I...

    Fa cup......unwanted distraction????

We're not Manchester United! The FA Cup has provided Albion fans with many of their best-ever match experiences. In the run up to Falmer, a good run, with perhaps a big game in the third or fourth round, will help increase our profile even more and show the rest of the country just how good we...

East Stand 1901 Club - where is the area which was set aside for the supporters bar?

I agree with that. I just don't want money to become the overriding factor. Football at the top stinks in this country, absolutely reeks.

East Stand 1901 Club - where is the area which was set aside for the supporters bar?

I suppose one advantage we do have is that a sizeable chunk of our corporates are fans first, 'corporate' types second. I don't think we'll have an Arsenal middle tier scenario at Falmer.

East Stand 1901 Club - where is the area which was set aside for the supporters bar?

You don't have to sell your soul to make money. I want us to be sustainable. I don't care if we make a million pound a game. To me, it's about belonging, pride, togetherness and spirit. f*** all this money talk. Let's get as far as we can by being a proper football club. Ultimately, that...

East Stand 1901 Club - where is the area which was set aside for the supporters bar?

Of course. German stadia, in the main, are excellent. Super quick service - it's cashless - decent beer, bratwurst etc. Even the seats fold up for safe terracing. Only crap thing is adverts on the big screens - during the game.

East Stand 1901 Club - where is the area which was set aside for the supporters bar?

While I sort of agree with your sentiment, the difference is that Ashburton Grove et al has consumers, not supporters. Without Albion supporters, there wouldn't be a ground, or a club. If 10,000 people decide to stop going to 'the Emriates', there's another 10,000 gullible idiots waiting to...

On a whing and a prayer........

Whingy is a good lad, and an 'honest pro'. Trouble is, we've advanced so far, in such a short space of time, that a player with his attributes is no longer required. He'll do a great job for someone

The Albion Roar - 23 Oct

Yes, the best performance I've seen since the drubbing of Wycombe in the League Cup in 94 (I think). Junior McDougald scored twice and we were three up at half-time.

How many Apple products does your household own?

Actually Tony, I'm thinking about purchasing an Apple laptop so I can I use it in a public place, while supping a ridiculously overpriced coffee. How cool will I look?
