Just to remind you that Corbyn didn't win an election, in fact he had the worst defeat in an election since Major. The left might want to blame Starmer for losing but the reality is Corbyn was inept as a leader. As I said before, to win an election you have to win the centre ground. You seem...
Neither has the Dutch national team.
The far left will never go away and if they have strong beliefs then fair enough. However, they aren't going to get anywhere near achieving any of their aims if the Tories win so it is in their long term interest to back Starmer, in my opinion.
How did he do that then? Corbyn was leader and noticeably absent from most 'Remain' campaigning, probably because he was actually a Brexiteer.
The next election isn't going to be won by Starmer pandering to the far left just as Sunak has no chance (if he has any) by pandering to the far right...
It's not irrelevant in the fact that you don't need to decide until you've played at senior level (and even then I believe you can change your mind if you've only played in a friendly!).
Showing your age there. He wouldn't ask his dad, he'd just google it on his phone.
On a serious note, if there are players from days gone by then surely that would prompt younger fans to look them up and expand their knowledge of the club they support!
So a non descript player who has just stuck at one club throughout our years stuck in League 3 south is a legend but Reinalt isn't! Peter Ward not a legend by your criteria, nor is Brian Horton. Fact is not anyone and everyone get's called a legend.
Sooner it's sorted the sooner we move on. Think we all are resigned to him going but the club want what they want. Maybe they want Caicedo to hand in a transfer request which would normally mean him sacrificing a payment from us when he goes. All a bit of a nonsense really as the whole saga...
Hall of fame is a good idea with 3 or 4 inductees each season. Could posthumously induct some and present family with a a small plaque or something before a game.
Like I said he was a valuable member but I don't recall him having the importance to the team as Dunk has (also in the promotion campaigns he was in midfield, Rollings and Cross at the back in 1976/77 and I think Rollings and Lawrenson in 1978/79).
As for the legends, I'd have Charlie Webb...
'or even Steve Piper'? He made only 162 appearances for the Albion, most of which were in the third tier. Yes, he was an important part of the promotion in 77 but hardly a legend. How many tarpaulins do you think the club should have. As for Bruno, I suspect that the vast majority of fans...
On your way to Falmer from Brighton, when you come up to the Station, go to the very right as that's where the queuing system is (that is, don't go through the main front entrance as you won't be able to get to the relevant platforms. If you're staying in Brighton, then don't rush for the...
How far back are you going fro that to be a miss? Pretty certain in the 45 years I've been watching the Albion, penalties that go in off the keeper have always been a goal.
