This tournament is always good to watch because, pre quarter finals it's awful, but quarters and after it's decent.
Also, this tournament does itself no favours because it comes a week after the PDC and so everyone compares them.
This booing crap, en mass, seems to have crept in the last two to three years.
I used to go up there with my boy and it was never like that, it was just a well controlled drink fest of watered down lager, along with loads of fun and appreciation for the players.

I don't care about troubling the top 6.
As my old Belgium beer drinking mate pointed out to me today, the top 6 are at least 2 divisions ahead of us.
I really don't want us to become a clone of Stoke City, et al.
If we go back to The championship, I certainly won't be unhappy about it.
