    Roy Chuter

My dear friend Roy Chuter's ashes were interred during a small family gathering yesterday morning at the Falmer Community Stadium. His enduring sprit will live on in the hearts and minds of friends and family.

Will Brighton ever get as good as the late 70's/early 80's again?

Question is will football be as good again? In those days anyone could win the league. Had Clough stayed with Taylor could Albion have emulated Forest? As stated earlier too many people are being priced out. Still an opportunity for the non league scene to develop.

Bristol Rovers considering legal action to avoid relegation

Having been in the crowd for their promotion celebration in 1974 (V Albion 1-1 by the way) I feel very sad for their fans. A proper team with real supporters. I hope this does not effect their redevelopment plans. I have always enjoyed my trips to Rovers, in fairness probably because Albion have...

    the Dambusters on channel 5

Quite a remarkable piece of family history here. My mother lived very close to Gibsons airbase in Lincoln and on several occasions took '******' on his afternoon stroll. Many stories about the girls counting out the planes as they left and in again on their return. Her best friend was beheaded...

Gianluca Vialli's 'Poorest Kids must see the World Cup'

Cannot the Hosptality business selling the tickets just give these away for once and use the publicity. Why not publish its name and they can tell us why they are charging a group of street kids an 85% mark up to line their own pockets.

Albion fans going out to Brazil?

Salvador, Natal and Sao Paulo for me, week in one of Brazil's most interesting cities, then a week on the beach. Kicks off with Holland v Spain, Germany v Portugal, Japan v Greece and Holland v Chile.

Not a pub but Thai Street Food is a Thai cafe in Worthing. Wonderfully eccentric and serving the best South East Asian food I have had since leaving Cambodia.
