Arsenal win the league. Be realistic please.

[Music] If you thought Football Tickets were expensive, consider gig tickets

Decided I wanted to see Roger Waters in Berlin a few weeks ago. Only VIP tickets left EUR 260. Amazing show though, maybe do a VIP show once a year. Sensible thing is of course to find the new bands before they break. Let’s face it with the Great Escape we have more chances than most.

Perhaps they should try putting on a top act then.

    [Misc] Prostate Cancer

Yup well done for posting. I was dianosed at 50 and had Radiotherepy. (There are alternatives to surgery in some cases) Seems strange coming round to the 10th anniversary. I am still being watched as it was an experimental treatment, and guess I will always be as a consequence.

When I last went they hauled a full Barrel of beer past me and set it up on the terrace. You won’t have any problems.

It may be no suprise but beware of late kick off changes. USG certainly used to kick off at 14.00 on Sundays. This may change as their star starts to rise again. A whole catelogue on this on other NSC links.

[Albion] Assuming you were born - what time did you get up 35 years ago today ?

Here’s a memory question then. Which rock band played Wembley arena that very night?

[News] The 'Dambusters' raid, 75 years ago today (and tomorrow).

My mother lived in Lincoln during the war, and was on site during the period. She knew Guy and used to take ‘******’ his dog for walkies from time to time.

Just simply refuse to travel on Sundays now. The network is no longer fit for purpose. Hastle free trip home Monday.

    [Football] National League Play Off

Went to the Kiddy home game and had a superb reception from the locals. Delighted to see them win through tonight. Could have done without my mate starting an arguement with a regular about Hector being offside in the Albion game. (In 1964) Classic day.

I still think it was tactical genius to locate the away fans in Portslade.

Yup! Much prefer to have a small, simple document for £2. Loved those pocket sized efforts in the 60’s and 70’s. West Ham and Palace particularly.

[Football] Tonly Bloom libked to purchase of Belgium Pro B Club Union SG

Front view, the ground has been used since 1919 and is one of the oldest in the Belguim League. They are a classic sleeping giant, have kept their own identity through a rash of mergers in the Belgian league. Friendly club, barman bought me a drink when I first visited, and put on a game on the...

Picture is of the Heysel Stadium, so I guess this particular game may have been moved. They play at Stade Joseph Marien, (capacity 5500) in the middle of a forest, just 10 minutes on the tram from Gare du Midi. They are known as being a quirky left wing side, a Belgian St Pauli if you like.

[Politics] Now the Cold War is back...

Shocking to see how much money gets wasted on our defence budget when the country is falling apart due to lack of investment in hospitals, police, education, etc. Do we really need to spend almost as much as Russia? Utter madness.
