I'd like to think they are no longer going anymore.
Stamford Bridge was the only ground I saw the NF selling at. Apparently they also sold inside the ground, although this may be an urban myth.
Foul throws do my head in, they are so common now (unless the laws have changed without my knowledge). Do away with foul throws if you aren't going to penalise them.
Not long ago there was a post asking something like who would make you upset if they died. Well, his name didn't pop into my mind at the time but I certainly went to bed upset with the news last night.
I was lucky to see him live on a number of occasions, most recently last year at a paired...
Messi is a fantastic footballer but is just about to trash his reputation by becoming a (highly paid) ambassador of sports washing for Saudi Arabia in a bid for them to get the 2030 World Cup.
Reminds me of the tat seller outside Carrow Road selling BRIGHTON - CHAMPIONS - WE ARE PREMIERSHIP scarfs. Not sure how many were sold before the match but not many being sold after!
Indeed, if the press are to be believed, Southgate is on £3 million, Howe £4 million and Potter £10 million. That's a massive pay cut unless the FA were willing to match (which I don't think they would/should).
I think Southgate will stay on until the end of his contract by which time one of...
Yes, I love the BBC ratings by the fans. I noticed in one of the Ecuador match that Sarmiento, Caicedo and Estupiñán all had ratings of 8/9 when all the other players had 6s and 7s!
I think we should sack our most successful of managers we have had in 50 years. Time we went back to being knoced out in the group stages, or not even qualifying. Much less stressful.
I would have booked every sub who ran on to the pitch. They had no right to be there and the ball didn't even hit any of them.
Aside from that and letting Messi get away with it, the ref did ok in a very difficult match.
For me, it dates back to watching the cricket world cup in Australia 1992. When there was a mexican wave going around, plastic pint glasses would fly into the air, with or withour beer in them. Never seen it before, maybe because it's usually too cold in England.
Not sure this is correct. There were a number of us who thought Southgate had broadly done a good job but there was a majority who thought (think?) that Southgate doesn't pick Albion players because he played for Palace 35 years ago and that we win despite him. I don't think this World Cup has...
I think it was mentioned on here but I don't think that the club or the press ever mentioned it so it could well be a presumption on NSC that has now become a fact. Perhaps the club wanted to loan him but no one wanted him or the club were asking too much of his wages to be paid? Don't suppose...
