I agree , Sanchez's reach makes him the better shot stopper. Steele would not have saved the Rashford effort , it's not his fault but he is shorter. I felt both goals conceded at Elland Road would have been stopped by Sanchez. I do think Steele may have stopped one of the penalties as he would...
RDZ missed a trick today. Sanchez was great in the game but should have been subbed off in the last few minutes of extra time for Steele. Steele is a proven penalty saver while Big Bob ...well. It would have been a brave move and taken "Big Balls" but we might have won if it had been done.
My father (a life long Albion fan) will be supporting Hartlepool(s) for this one. He won't forgive Crawley for their lack of love for a fellow Sussex team in their hour of need.
What would they poor lad do if he had to travel up to Crewe and see his team lose 3-0 in League Two (and do it for season after season all around the country)
I guess that the goal went to his head a little - can't really blame him it was a wonder goal and he is young. Commentator said it was his first EPL goal but he scored at Bournemouth , or don't they count as EPL ? :ROFLMAO:
Liverpool have a pretty easy run in - just Spurs and Villa look tricky for them. I think they may finish above us.
Us and Villa have difficult run ins. Last day at Villa Park could be tasty.
Fulham , Brentford and Chelsea have gone - I would be disappointed if any of them overtook us.
Spurs...
Having watched most of our game today it's "hats off" to the players , management and fans. Totally outplayed a side dripping in money and recent history on their own patch.
Chelsea lucky to get nil points today .
