Yes, the EU gets it from us. The point I was making was that the EU was making it available for infrastructure and regeneration schemes. If the Treasury hadn't paid that money to the EU I doubt very much whether any money they saved by not paying it across would have been made available direct...
I'e always been pro EU because where I live up here in the North its only EU money which has enabled any infrastructure or training investment to happen at all since the late 80s. And I don't think the argument abut being out of the EU would then mean the Govt would put the money it saves back...

Correct. They shared the ground with St Helens Town (previous FA Vase winners) for several years and this was taken at a St Helens Town v FCUM League match at Knowsley Road in 1999.
I may be in a minority of one here but if the foreigh owners in the Prem get their way and decide to float it off from the rest of football with no relegation perhaps I'd just wave them goodbye. Then we can all get on with the real stuff in the Football League. Sod 'em!
